Message from the President of International Federation

of Swimming Teachers’ Associations (IFSTA)

 Dear Prof. Chiang

 I was delighted to hear that the Swimming Teachers of Taiwan are forming a Swimming Teachers Association.  We all know how important it is to preserve humane life, and this can only be achieved with the correct teacher training and conscientious teaching.  

 Over the last two years many teaching courses have been run in Taiwan and I congratulate all successful candidates, remember you are the foundation stone of the new association who will set the standards for the future.

 It is the duty of all swimming teachers to set high standards and uphold those standards, with the support of one another through your new association and support and guidance of the STA Hong Kong I believe you will go from strength to strength.

 As president of the IFSTA I look forward to working with you in the future and maybe soon I will have the pleasure of visiting your country and meeting many more of you.

 I WISH THE STA TAIWAN EVERY SUCCESS IN THEIR NEW VENTURE

 親愛的姜教授

 很高興聽到台灣游泳教師協會正式成立，我們都知道唯有透過正確及認真之教學與

訓練，人類的生命才能獲得更多的保障。

 過去這兩年台灣曾經舉辦許多游泳教學之訓練，我一方面恭賀貴協會之成立，另一方面也請各位記得您們是協會之基石，對未來也將豎起模範。

 所有游泳教師的職責是建立及維持高水準之教學。香港游泳教師協會會繼續給予您們支持與指導，相信您們會更加成長茁壯。

本人謹代表國際游泳教師總會，期盼未來與您們一起合作，也許很快就有機會拜訪貴國及認識更多的朋友。
